Limestone was formed millions of years ago. It is a sedimentary rock and is the result of deposits on the sea bed being compressed to form a solid stone.
As a result of the conditions present during their creation most limestones contain an array of attractive fossil deposits, which add to their appearance and make them easy to keep clean.
Generally, limestones will exhibit warm soothing shades of cream, vanilla and gold as well as soft greys and blues.
Although limestones are usually softer than slates and marbles, the stones in our range have been selected for their hardness and durability, making for low maintenance.
